Harvey Weinstein News: James Corden Apologizes Intern, For Joke Alleges 1980 Encounter

The disgraced movie mogul who has been accused of sexual misconduct by a number of top actresses last week, Harvey Weinstein, continues to be in the information.

James Corden Reacts to backlash for Weinstein joke

After remarks he made at Friday’s AmfAR Gala at Los Angeles were met with groans, the late-night TV host tweeted.  

“It’s a beautiful night here in L.A.. So amazing, Harvey Weinstein has already asked tonight up to his hotel to give him a massage,” he said in the point. “It’s been weird this week, though, watching Harvey Weinstein in hot water. Ask any of the women who watched him take a bath. ”

A  clip of Corden’s remarks went viral, and was met with criticism on Twitter from Weinstein accusers Rose McGowan and Asia Argento, amongst others.

Corden addressed that the backlash in a pair of tweets: “To be clear, sexual attack isn’t a laughing matter. I wasn’t trying to make light of Harvey & rsquo; s behavior that was inexcusable, but to pity him, the abuser, not his victims. I’m truly sorry for anybody offended, which was never my aim,” he wrote.

Ex-intern alleges Manufacturer exposed himself to her 1980

A lady says when she interned in 1980 — one of the first allegations, as a production assistant in his first movie, The Burning to surface contrary to the film mogul Harvey Weinstein exposed himself to her.

Paula Wachowiak told The Buffalo News she was delivered to rsquo & Weinstein; s resort room with a pile of checks to allow him to register.

Weinstein stood behind the door, ” she says. “When I got to the area, I understood that he was holding a hand towel around his waist.” She says he dropped the towel took the manila folder full of checks and was nude underneath.

He told that he had a kink in his shoulder and asked to get a massage, Wachowiak says. “That is not in my job description,” she says she told Weinstein.

Wachowiak, who was 24 at the moment, states she left the room in tears. Later, she says, he inquired, “Was seeing me naked the highlight of your internship?”

She states she shared the episode with the movie’s accountant and production supervisor.

French president Intends to revoke Legion of Honor award

On Sunday, French President Emmanuel Macron said he had “started the processes” to rescind Weinstein’s Legion of Honor award. The award was given following the producer movie The Artist won several Oscars to Weinstein at 2012.

Woody Allen is Requested about Weinstein

“The whole Harvey Weinstein item is very sad for everyone involved,” Allen said in a story published Sunday. “Tragic for its poor women that were involved, gloomy for Harvey who (his) life is so messed up.”

Allen estimated that the allegations against Weinstein would  result in “some amelioration,” although not “into a witch hunt setting, a Salem atmosphere, where every guy in an office that winks at a woman is unexpectedly needing to call a lawyer to defend himself. That’s not right.”

Allen’s son with Mia Farrow, Ronan Farrow, is the reporter that wrote the New Yorker piece that detailed  many of Weinstein’s alleged assaults. Farrow has declared that Dylan, his sister was abused by his father.

British police investigate

London’s Metropolitan Police said that a woman reported being attacked in 2015 and 2010, 2011 from Weinstein. The police force said officers out of its Child Abuse and Sexual Offenses Command are currently investigating.

All these allegations follow the following reported from British actress Lysette Anthony in London, who stated Weinstein raped her at her house.
